Transformer is the key equipment of the power system, its working state determines whether the power system run safely and reliable. At present, most large transformer insulating and cooling medium is insulating oil in our country electric power system, so the potential transformer fault can be found by using the method of Dissolved Gas Analysis so as to avoid major accidents. As the development of computer graphics visualization technology, representing the diagnostic data in2d,3d graphics with the help of the DGA visualization processing can effectively reflect the data structure and relationships. In this premise, we completed the research and development of "visual components transformer fault diagnosis based on DGA", designed and implemented the DGA visual hierarchical pipeline model of this component. This paper mainly completed the following work:1) Fault diagnosis method of fuzzy three-ratio is proposed according to the limitations of three-ratio method which is commonly used for the diagnosis of fault in power transformer. And two types of graphic method of gas ratio are analyzed in detail:Duval triangle and cube graphic method, which are commonly used in transformer fault diagnosis visualization.2) This paper proposes a hierarchy pipeline modeling method and builds a transformer diagnosis visual model under the support of scientific visualization theory. This model based on the "visualization pipeline" theory model and combined with object oriented and hierarchical design thought. The data access layer specifies transformer parameter values, the physical sub layer of the business logical layer detects device entities by encapsulation and builds a diagnosis business model, the draw sub layer produces the figures, and the show layer realizes scientific visualization and give the diagnose result. Three layer structure can reduce the dependence of each layer, improve diagnosis reusability efficiency and guarantee the extensibility of the model.3) Components overall structural design, functional design, database design and business logic design are given according to DGA visualization pipeline hierarchical model.4) After completing the design of components, the components code is implemented by cross-platform Qt and standard OpenGL graphic library components. The component diagnosis results are tested and analyzed according to the substation system fault instances, and its correctness and validity are verified. In actual operation, the running condition and evaluation of the component perform very well and meet the project requirements.
