Inheritance And Expression Of The Qiang’s Culture In Wenchuan Urban Open Space

It is almost three years from the "20085.12Wenchuan Earthquake".People across the country effored their best to rebuild the affected areas during the past three years.Guangdong Province respond positively to the national call,reconstructed the epicenter Wenchuan in night and day. Wenchuan is the administrative county of Aba, which is the largest of Qiang’s autonomous prefecture in China.The90percent of the original inhabitants in Wenchuan is Qiang people.the earthquake not only destroyed the happy homes of the Qiang people,but also brought deep wound to the Qiang people’s physical and mental. The most needed to be restored in post-disaster reconstruction is the long history of the Qiang’s and the Qiang people’s enthusiasm,this is also the most difficult.It is a problem to let the original residents to re-love this grieving land,to accept the new city, to establish their confidence in the future life, and make the ancient Qiang culture that hidden in the mountains to touched more people at the same time. In the reconstruction process, after serious thinking and detailed planning,Wenchuan county party committee fellow Aba Prefecture’s reconstruction ideas "Follow the law, People-oriented,Avoid disadvantages,Quality and efficiency,accelerate the development ". Combined with the county situation, determined the strategic positioning of the reconstruction of the county,it is efforts to build wenchuan to be the Aba’s Concentration of new industrial face to sichuan and service the statewide,the ecological experience zone of Qiang YU,the characteristics of modern agriculture demonstration area of the Minjiang River valley.On this basis, proposed the overall vision of "One center,Two corridors,Four area".This paper take Wenchuan town as the object of study, research the Qiang’s cultural heritage and expression in open space.The study covers Weizhou town which is the Wenchuan political and cultural center of Wenchuan, Longxi town in Qiang Valley which located at the north of Wenchuan,Shuimo ancient town which is the most beautiful Qiang city in south of Wenchuan.The study includes the open space within the study area in the cultural themes,landscape structure, landscape elements, landscape elements expression of the Qiang culture four areas.On this basis,combined with the theory of open space design and landscape semiotics to comparative analysis these cases, summed up the advantages and deficiencies of Qiang cultural heritageand expression in the various open space.Advantages:1、 Determined the reasonable cultural theme.By contrast the cultural theme of the open space,we can see the cultural theme of the various open space is (?)tively reasonable.2、Landscape spatial structure is reasonable.According to the location,size,functional requirements each space planed the correspond spatial structure.one of the most distinctive is the Dongmen Village.3、Extracted a variety of cultural symbols. By induction and statistics, the extraction of Qiang cultural symbols in all open space is relatively rich.4、Landscape apply the extracted symbols plenty. Cultural symbols through the landscape as the vector in order to achieve the visual effects. In the researched open space,depending on the cultural theme, the apply of cultural symbols has a certain distinction.Disadvantaged:1、The expression of the cultural theme is not deep enough, compared the case of research, the Youth Plaza is not deep enough for the expression of the cultural theme.2、Cultural symbols extracted inadequately.The extraction of cultural symbols in the open spaces of the research is relatively rich few, but not sufficient.3^The artificial traces of landscape is little heavier. This is more prominent in the Dongmen Village, especially in the entrance plaza.4、The heritage of Qiang’s non-material cultural is Less.Combined with relevant information and the author’s Reflection,summed up the way of landscape design heritage and express the Qiang culture in the open space,that is to understand the history and culture of the Qiang development, respect for the habits and customs of the Qiang people,extract a variety of cultural symbols from the culture,create favorable conditions for the Qiang intangible cultural heritage protection.On this basis,make recommendations for the Wenchuan open space landscape design.Hope that by way of summary expression of Qiang cultural landscape to provide some reference for future Qiang’s and the other national cultural landscape design,thus to design a more welcomed open space by the ethnic people while expressing and protecting the national culture much more.
