The Interior Design And Spacial Form Of The Building On The Campus Of Universities Research

Since the foundation of PRC, especially since the reforming and opening up, higher education of China has made a great progress and it has also become a popular topic talked by a great many people today. In the meantime, as the enrollment expansion of colleges leads to the increase of scholars, another topic gradually appears, i.e. whether the building type and space design in buildings of the higher education institutes should keep abreast of the times. Therefore, a lot of normal higher education institutes emerge with abundant teaching resources and considerable scale. However, due to the influence of the historical factor and the pattern of traditional higher education, the building of existing colleges and universities still has the characteristics of the old era, and many of them are equipped with old and low-utilization instruments; besides, because of the need of social development, some of the buildings are not suitable for current teaching and scientific research, so they hardly play a part in the modern education. In that case, this present paper discusses the interior design and spacial form of the building on the campus of Chinese universities.Based on the thorough analysis of the various factors that affect the reform of the campus of China’s universities, this paper not only collects a lot of materials and refers to the existing cases of improvement design of traditional campuses, but also introduces theories and findings related to ecology, building environment and so on, and finally proposes the design concept and some suggestions on the building reform of China’s university campuses.In addition to the conclusion, this paper consists of4parts:The first part is the introduction which elaborates the background, importance, concept and framework of this study.The second part principally introduces the source of campus and development history of campus buildings for the first, and then, based on the historical transition, it expounds the change as well as development trend of the spacial form of the building of present higher education institutes.The third part discusses the orientation of Chinese campus building design in the aspect of the development of educational history. Meanwhile, the text of this part also mentions the reason why the universality of the campus spacial form design and indoor design as well as the campus building form should be emphasized during the design and planning.The fourth part discusses the points which should be paid attention to in campus planning, landscape design and building space design by illustrating Wuhan University, Wuhan Textile University and Tsinghua University. Besides, the innovative place of the paper is revealed, along with which are also the importance and value of the ecological building as well as the author’s opinions and proposes.
