Polyvinyl chloride(PVC) as one of the biggest plastic products raw material usage, have incomparable advantages, such as excellent chemical stability, widely application range. However, the low thermal stability and poor processability limit the application of PVC. In recent years, the PVC industry faces overcapacity, increasing of environmental protection pressure and so on. Therefore, improving the quality of the products and developing new products will play a crucial role in the current development of polyvinyl chloride industry. In this paper, polyvinyl chloride / graphene nanocomposites were prepared by high energy ball milling, solution blending and casting into film method, studied the thermal stability and mechanical properties of PVC/GNP nanocomposites. Based on a large number of experimental data, the influence of the graphene filler on the thermal stability and mechanical properties of PVC materials was analyzed and summarized by the comparison method, and worked out the general laws of them. This work demonstrated that graphene can effectively improve the thermal stability and mechanical properties of polyvinyl chloride, maximum decomposition temperature were increased by 20 and the ℃ tensile strength were increased by 22%.In order to expand the application field of polyvinyl chloride materials, the porous polyvinyl chloride materials were prepared by particulate leaching and phase separation. In this study, the mixing pattern of traditional particle leaching method(called dry milling in this thesis) was improved and proposed wet milling method to prepare porous polymer materials. For the sake of the comparison between the two method, investigated the influence of preparation parameters and raw material ratio on morphology structure and adsorption property of porous polyvinyl chloride material. FESEM, BET, MIP and other characterization methods were used to characterize the morphology and structure of the products. This study showed that polyvinyl chloride can be used to prepare porous materials, and the porosity of the porous polyvinyl chloride materials prepared by wet milling can reach 90%, and the pore size distribution is about 2 μm, which has strong oil absorption performance.
