The mine ventilation system is the key part in the safe production. The main fan is the extremently important production equipment of the ventilation system, which undertakes the task of drainaging gas and delivering the fresh air to the bottom of the mine. So it can realize the on-line real-time monitoring for the operation of the main fan and the key parameters, if so, it not only can improve the controlling level iin the mining production, but also can realize the safe production in coal mining enterprises.This topic use mine main fan control system as the background in a Shaanxi mineral company, through the analysis of the situation of coal mine main fan system, and put forward the overall scheme of mine main ventilator monitoring system. The structure of the online monitoring system is "centralized management, decentralized control". It mainly based on three parts, including the monitoring and management level, the foundation control level and measurement in field level.According to the overall design of scheme, this paper completes the hardware of mine main ventilator monitoring system, the software and the communication network. In the aspect of hardware, according to the practical requirements of the mine field. The control circuit is designed reasonably, and the PLC and inverter, and the key parameters such as temperature, vibration, monitoring of mine pressure, gas concentration, wind speed sensor and data acquisition select the modules and design the connection.In the aspect of software design, it completes the whole monitoring system’s program by using STEP7-Micro/WIN, a PLC programming software producted by Siemens; Then according to the control requirement of the system, using Force Control configuration software developes the PC monitoring program and achieves man-machine dialogue between the management and monitoring system.In the aspect of communication network design, online monitoring system implements communicating connection of the PLC, frequency converter, data acquisition module, signal acquisition module and the temperature inspecting instrument by using RS-485 busconnections and Modbus communication protocol; In addition, through the Ethernet network to realize the Data interaction between PC and PLC. Through these three aspects of the work,the design of mine main ventilator on-line monitoring system is completed.The PLC control technology, variable frequency speed control technology, Industrial Communication Technology and The PC configuration software technology are applied to the design of mine main ventilator on-line monitoring system. This subject has important theoretical significance. Finally, the system meets the needs of mine main ventilation system after the debugging. therefore, This subject has important practical application value.
