The belt conveyor is a transport equipment widely used in modern coal mine which is high efficiency and stable operation, it is essential to ensure the safety in production of coal mine. At present, the modernization of the mine has realized the digitization and informationization, all kinds of sensors provide a lot of useful data for fault diagnosis. Therefore, how to carry on the information fusion is the key to improve the efficiency of diagnosis. Based on the information fusion study of the intelligent decision support system of fault diagnosis of coal mine belt conveyor, we integrated used information fusion technology, decision support system and artificial intelligence technology, proposed the feasible way of intelligent decision support system for belt fault diagnosis.In this paper, by using the data of the existing platform of Nanliang coal mine as the support, the fusion data include sensor data real-time monitoring, historical data and belt manual inspection information. First of all, proposed and designed the system framework of information fusion fault diagnosis of belt conveyor based on intelligent decision support by the application of knowledge based expert system information fusion method combined with the state estimation and parameter characteristic case reasoning technology; secondly, using the method of fault tree analysis method to analysis belt conveyor common fault, using production rule to represent knowledge, modeling knowledge base based on ontology theory; on this basis, design the database structure and function model of the belt conveyor, by using the gray relational model of belt speed data fusion to evaluate and detect belt condition and fault; then, from the case representation, case feature extraction, case retrieval and case based reasoning and other aspects to discuss the fault case base construction and its key technologies, and proposed case standardized extraction and application based on rough set; finally, on the basis of theoretical research, from the specific application of coal mine, develop the coal mining equipment fault diagnosis intelligent decision support system based on information fusion, and to test the reliability of the system prototype. The results show that the information fusion fault diagnosis intelligent decision support system of the coal mine belt conveyor can effectively sharing repair belt fault repair knowledge, realize rapid diagnosis based on knowledge model, speed condition assessment based on speed and fault match based on case.
