Recently intelligent manufacturing and intelligent monitoring has been the main trend of the manufacturing industry. Intelligent monitoring is an integrated technology consists of mechanical, electrical control, computer, etc. Distributed monitoring is the concrete realization of intelligent monitoring. It has been paid more and more attention by manufacturing enterprises because of its ability of monitor and analyze the data of different nodes and different products. Nowadays, the intelligent manufacturing products’ market is dominated by United States, Germany, Japan and some other developed countries. In the field of medicine and micro processing these devices lead to a reduction in the economic capability in which space and economic are limited. Therefore, this paper is devoted to solving special monitoring problem based on an actual engineering project. The main work of this paper is to monitor a miller ’s information based on the idea of Cyber Physical System. The main research present as follows is to realize this purpose:Study the CPS model of machine based on the 5C architecture of CPS. UML has been used to abstract modeling for machine with the method of constructing electromechanical integration object with which the foundation of CPS model for machine has set up.Analysis and design the electrical components of the miller monitoring system. Study the power distribution mode, input and output signals, driver interface communication, etc. combined with the Mach3 software and its control card to lay the foundation for the monitoring system.The host computer detection system has been studied based on Profinet Bus. The miller’s IO, RS485 and other communication port information collect to the SIMENS S7-1200 through the modules compatible with PLC. Configuration programming of the host computer uses Win CC and Simatic Manager to realize the communication between PLC and miller ’s electrical equipment. The economy and the appearance of the miller monitoring system have been greatly improved under this physical structure.Designed the task scheduling function based on Genetic Algorithm and realize its process by MATLAB so that the task scheduling module which belongs to host computer can be implement easily.MFC is studied to design the monitoring system interface. Visual Studio 2010 has been used as the development platform to communicate with Win CC through the OPC communication protocol, with which to complete the monitoring of important parameters of the miller and part of the control function of the host computer. G-code file transfer function between monitoring system and miller has been achieved through the TCP protocol based on socket programming. The task scheduling module mentioned above has been used to realize the task scheduling function in OPC client. The monitoring system researched above can be extended to multiple units.The experiment to monitor the miller’s signal has been carried out based on the above research. Result show that the monitoring system meets the demand of development.
