| Methods that separate carbazole, anthracene and phenanthrene from anthracene slag were studied. Qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of anthracene slag was carried out with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC/MS) using carbazole, anthracene and naphthalene as the external standard. 30 kinds of compounds that molecular weight distribute between 128 and 228 were detected. The top three compounds identified were carbazole, anthracene and phenanthrene, and the percentage content are 19.8%, 19.5% and 19.4%.High-pressure preparative liquid chromatography(HPLC) was used to separate anthracene slag, and the obtained 8 fractions were analysised by GC/MS. The fourth fraction and the fifth fraction were obtained from process that used petroleum ether:ethyl acetate=2:1 as mobile phase, and relative percentage content of carbazole are 89.61% and 48.08%. So we say that carbazole can separate with this method. Totally 9 fractions which were analysised by GC/MS were obtained from anthracene slag used medium-pressure preparative liquid chromatography(MPLC). Anthracene and phenanthrene gather in the first four fractions, the content of anthracene are 32.721%, 59.663%, 71.837% and 45.131%, and the content of phenanthrene are 24.643%, 11.415%, 12.636% and 7.75%. Therefore, this method is effective to separate anthracene from anthracene slag. Ethyl acetate was used as mobile phase and obtained four fractions. The last three fractions are riched in carbazole, and the content of carbazole is 84.032% in the last fraction.A variety of solvents were used in experiment to separate carbazole from anthracene slag, and methanol, ethanol, cyclohexane, n-hexane, n-heptane, ethyl acetate,T, carbon dichloride were selected to be discussed in this article. It was studied that T and ethyl acetate are appropriate solvents to separate carbazole, anthracene and phenanthrene from anthracene slag, and further experiment conditions were explored. First,T was used, and then E, lastly T, the percentage content of carbazole was up to 87.4%. Double solvents(M and C) method was used twice and the percentage content of carbazole was 96.3% finally. |
