Based on this, this paper chooses the SoE protocol as the research topic.Firstly according to the physical layer, data link layer and application layer. The three layers of EtherCAT protocol for detailed analysis. Secondly, according to two kinds of EtherCAT protocol to transmit data that periodic data and non periodic data respectively, to achieve the SoE protocol service channel and the process of data transmission function, service channel in SoE Protocol Implementation Based on EtherCAT data link layer of mailbox communication, SoE protocol process data transmission is called EtherCAT data link layer of process data communication.
