High speed punching machine is important equipment, with the further development of the industry, the application of high speed punch press is expanding constantly, which plays an important role in the national economy. But at present, the domestic high-speed punch press generally has the problem of poor reliability and the problem of reliability has become the main factor that affects the performance of the domestic high speed punch press and the market competition ability. Therefore, the improvement of the reliability of the domestic high-speed punch press has become an urgent problem to be solved. Modern industry require stamping technology and processing equipment to be flexible, but traditional stamping equipment are lack of flexibility and are unable to adapt to a variety of processing. AC servo control system is adopted to meet the various needs of punching machine in servo control system. Development of servo control system through the traditional method make the system development cycle becoming long, difficult and high cost, in the meantime, the complexity of the control algorithm cannot be implemented conveniently and rapidly.This paper introduces the design of the high speed punching machine from seven aspects.(1) The design of the transmission scheme is designed according to the maximum load and the transmission efficiency of the transmission mechanism. The crankshaft type punch has been chosen in this paper, thus the power transmission mechanism are the transmission mechanism of crankshaft.(2) The determination of dimension parameters of the main body: the dimension parameters of the main body of the press are decided by calculating and analyzing, such as static analys is, modal analys is, motion analysis, etc...(3) The motion analysis of the main body of the press: the kinematics and dynamics calculation of the mechanism of the high precision high speed punching machine was applied, and the dynamic balance was analyzed, thus the stability of punching process was analyzed.(4) The selection of motor: motor plays a vital role as it is the power source of the process. The selection was applied after the setting of the transmission scheme and the power of the motor is c alculated by the maximum load and the transmission efficiency of the transmission mechanism.(5) The determination of main parts of the system: the main parts of the system are determined by the transmission scheme, the first choice is in accordance with the national standard parts. If need to design, the parts should be light and high rigidity.(6) The study of the lubrication method: due to the high-speed movement of the high speed press, the relative movement between the bodies of each other must produce a lot of heat. If the heat cannot be distributed out, it will have a great impact on the reliability and accuracy of the machine. So the choice of reliable and effective lubrication method for the design of the punch is very important.(7) The analysis of machining accuracy of punch press: the inf luencing factors on the quality of the punch processing mainly include the following : the flatness of the punch countertops and the bottom surface of sliding block, the parallelism of the slider stroke towards the workbench surface, the perpendicularity of the slider stroke towards the workbench surface, the parallelism of the shank hole center line towards the slider stroke.
