This thesis consists of two parts:The first part is a review section, which firstly introduces the universality of biaryl compounds and gives a brief introduction to the traditional coupling represented by Suzuki coupling form biaryl compounds. After that, We introduce the regioselectivity hydrocarbon activation, which is divided into three sections. it introduces the benzene ring ortho / meta / para hydrocarbon activation coupling reaction. The second part is the experimental part, it’s about meta activation of the aryl coupling reaction, it primarily describes the experimental condition screening and substrate expand test, we use 10mol% Pd(OAc)2 as the catalyst in the reaction, 20mol% N-(2-hydroxy-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyridin-3-yl)acetamide as ligand, 1.5 equiv norbornene and 3 equiv silver acetate as additive to the catalyze reaction, reaction temperature is 95 ℃ and reaction time is 24 h.
