| Carbon fiber fabric reinforced thermoplastic composite materials for its recyclability, forming in a short time, high impact toughness and other advantages, has a broad prospect for development. Currently processed most of carbon fiber fabric is coupled with epoxy res in slurry, and the fabric coupled with this slurry is no longer desizing, it is formed a composite material with a thermosetting epoxy resin matrix composite directly. However, when such a fabric coupled with thermosetting res in slurry is formed with thermoplastic matrix composites, the fiber is difficult to infiltrate, leading poor adhesion between the substrate and the resin. Some researchers have found that the c lean surface after desizing carbon fiber yarn is easy infiltrate with a thermoplastic resin, so researchers hope to develop a clean surface of the carbon fiber fabric to increase the fabric and the thermoplastic matrix resin adhesion.In the process of carbon fiber fabric, sizing of carbon fiber yarns is essential. Based on the current three categories warp sizing slurry, this paper using the method for the synthesis of molecular design of carbon fiber warp weaving polyacrylate emuls ion slurry, by selecting the green and suitable for high-temperature desizing treatment emulsifier and initiator agent, determine the appropriate process parameters for the emuls ion system is : reaction temperature 80 ℃, initiator amount of 0.4 wt%, emulsifier amount of 5 wt %, keep the reaction time for 5h, adding ammonia water to adjust the p H to neutral to get the emulsion slurry. After gaining the stable performance of synthetic emuls ion slurry, by using DSC and infrared detection methods to analyze the performance of the slurry, further confirmed the synthetic emuls ion slurry design is expected.At the same time, by adjusting the synthetic copolymer slurry monomer ratio, explore the s izing performance and high-temperature water bath and proposed new high-temperature calc ination desizing performance to carbon fiber yarns, found that synthetic emuls ion slurry performance excellent in carbon fiber yarn s izing, co-slurry monomer ratio EA: MMA is 60:20 when the best yarn strength increase 41.64 %, and wear ability increase of 66.7%. Meanwhile, in the desizing process, calcination found desizing process can successfully retreated 99% carbon fiber s izing slurry, desizing better than under alkaline conditions in a water bath desizing. In the scanning electron microscope, we can see clear surface of the trench after the carbon fiber surface desizing s imilar to the original yarn, but also further explain its excellent desizing effect.To further verify the s ized carbon fiber yarns can be woven smoothly, choose the best sizing performance of carbon fiber yarns, found that the s ized carbon fiber yarns can be woven into smooth surface of CFRP smoothly. In the weaving process,By using the cotton warp yarn replace of carbon fiber yarns as the edged warp yarn, can reduce the carbon fiber s ide warp and weft breakage, improved weaving efficiency obviously. |
