| Steel is a kind of material with the advantages, such as wide raw materials, easy recovery, various variable microstructures, excellent machining performances, convenient alloying, and low price. So structural steel material is still the dominant base of the economic and social development. After many years of development, the production of wear-resistant steel in China has been greatly increased, but the performance of the domestic wear-resistant steel has a great gap compared with foreign similar products. So improving the performance of wear-resistant steel and reducing the using amount of steel have great practical significance for the decrease of the use-cost of pumps used to transport solid particles. In this paper, the wear resistant cast steel for KWPK pump body and its manufacture were studied.First of all, through theoretically analyze the chemical composition and heat treatment of the low alloy wear-resistant steel was preliminarily determined. The samples quenched at 850 oC and temperd at 250 oC contains uniform plate strip martensite and higher content of bainite and has good performance.Three casting processes of pump body was designed and simulated in this paper. And the best casting processes were obtained. By using this technique, the trial period of the product was shortened and the quality of casting was also improved.The production process of the pump body was introduced and the casting quality of the products is ensured through a series of measures which were taken into consideration in the technology, modeling, paint brush, pouring and cleaning process, and qualified pump body casting were produced. |
