Abstract/Summary:
Coal tar as one of the by-products of coking, its production is rich, is also extremely precious organic chemical material. Coal tar is complex compound, from which many high value-added chemical products can be obtained, and they have certain irreplaceable in the field, such as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, paints, dyes, high temperature materials and so on. But at present coal tar distillation process is backward, and high added value product withdrawal amount is less in china. In recent years, with the development of science and computer technology, the advanced simulation software of coal tar distillation system research is used to study separation process.In this paper, the existing technology for coal tar processing, the chemical simulation methods is employed to establish the calculation model and the thermodynamic method suitable for coal tar distillation system. We have found reasonable simulation method and model. By the study of coal tar distillation separation sequence, it found appropriate separation sequence, and the distillation separation sequence is adjusted to optimize by sensitivity analysis. It can give a certain data reference and help for the future of coal tar research work, but also it will be useful for the scale up of the process and further optimization.(1)Combined with related literature, UNIQ-RK model is used to the research which about input component of coal tar. Quality scores greater than 0.02% real group is determined the composition of coal tar, and the effects of temperature and pressure is a little on the distribution of low tar content coal group.(2)The lower energy consumption and high fractions of recovery distillation sequences were determined by the study of coal tar in each fraction separation sequence through the distillation separation sequence means, and the evaluation of the separation sequence using difficulty coefficient and relative cost function.(3)The study and analysis of simulation and optimization about the distillation process of coal tar are conducted by the single factor and orthogonal test method making use of sensitivity analysis separately in Aspen Plus software function. The optimized processing parameters were determined as discussing the influences of reflux ratio, theoretical stage and feed stage to separating power, purity of the product and energy consumption, It’s respectively T1: 4, 18, 4; T2: 0.5, 23, 9; T3: 0.7, 23, 11;T4: 0.7, 20, 10;T5:6,23,13;T6: 1.1, 22, 11.
