| With the development of national economy and the improvement of the living standards of consumers, people proposed a higher demand for the textile products which have comfort, aesthetics and diversity properties. 500 D polyester oxford cloth is commonly used to make bags, camouflage clothing, handbags and outdoor tent, etc. and well received by consumers because of the rough style. Compared with dye printing, pigment printing has the advantages of simple technology, environmental friendliness, energy saving and wide applicability for all kind of fibers, so pigment printing become the best choice to production the oxford cloth printing products, and it has broad prospects for development. However, fiber density and crystallinity of 500 D oxford cloth is higher than many kinds of conventional polyester, these reasons led to the fabric permeability is poor during printing, and easy to produce the problem such as scales spot and inhomogeneity of printing. In this study, in order to solve the problem, the ways of fiber modification and screening adjuvant will be used to solve this problem.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly, five different type adhesive, including BE-4900, BE-4100, AH-206,NEO,FS-460, was screened. The adhesive properties, solid content, water absorption rate and water loss rate, were measured. And then, the effects of the adhesive properties on the printing quality of polyester oxford cloth were investigated through single factor experiments.Secondly, in order to screen a suitable thickener to improve the printing q-uality of polyester oxford cloth, we selected five different type thickeners, and then, the thickening ability,solid content, water-retention was measured, and the compatibility of thickener and pigment, thickener and adhesive were also investigated by test the rheology of color paste. At last, screened a suitable thickener and it will be used in subsequent work.Thirdly, in order to improve the moisture absorption and the permeability of the fabric, we treated the polyester oxford cloth by alkali peeling process, and increased the void space between fiber and fiber. The effects of sodium hydroxide concentration, temperature, time and bath ratio on the quality of the weight loss rate were explored through single factor experiments. At last, the parameters of alkali peeling process were determined and the optimal process condition was recommended by evaluated the quality of the pigment printing.Fourthly, to further improve the quality of the pigment printing of the oxford cloth by adding differentadditives, including penetrating agent and silicone oil.Five penetrating agents, including XL-70, JFC, ZSW-5, SA-1, quality penetrating angent T, and five silicone oil, including KGA-9878, KGS-988, KGF-903, SSA, RH-NB-8088, were used in this experiment. And then, the optimal dosage of penetrating agent and silicone oil were determined through single factor experiments and tested the uniformity of the pigment printing samples.Fifth, optimum process with single factor experiments, the effects of the adhesive dosage, baking temperature, baking time on the quality of the pigment printing, and then, the K/S value, Lab value and dry/wet rubbing fastness of different printing samples were compared.Based on the analysis and research, some conclusions are elicited:Through comparing the properties of the five different types adhesive, We knew that BE-4900 is the optimal adhesive, and the amount of the color paste that stick to the printing net is about 24 g/m2, so the properties of anti-stickof BE-4900 is optimal. Through comparing the solid content ã€water-retention and compatibility of adhesive and pigment of the five thickener, we can reach aconclusion that the solid content of the TF-316 D is lowermost, about 38.24 % we choose TF-316 D become one of the components of the printingpaste. The suitable process parameters of the alkali peeling are as follows: the sodium hydroxide concentration is about 20 g/L, the reaction temperature is about 90 ℃, the liquorratio is 1:20 and the reaction time is about 80 min. The homogeneity of the color yield isabout 1.02 %, and the scale spot almost disappeared. With the adding of the penetratingagent, the surface tension of the color paste decreased, the amount of the scale spot of the printing samples was also decreased, so the homogeneity of the color yield was improved.ZSW-5 was chosen to add into the color paste, the dosage of ZSW-5 is about 0.8 %. The silicone oil KGF-903 was also chosen, the suitable is about 0.3 %, in addition, the rubbing fastness of the printing samples was improved because of the silicone was added. Theresultsshowed that the optimum process conditions were as follows: the dosage of the adhesive BE-4900 is about 40 %, the baking temperature is 160 ℃, the baking time is about 3min. |
