The design and development of automatic welding equipment for the contact of the MCCB in this article, based on a technological transformation project Changshu Switch Manufacturing Co., Ltd. production equipment development project developed for the molded case circuit breaker contacts to complete the design of automatic welding functions and applied the actual production.The topics in the design process, on the basis of full investigation and study, access to large number of documents, the integrated use of mechatronics technology to solve practical problems. In the design process, taking fully into account environmental factors and the actual work, not only to meet the basic functional requirements of mechanical design, ergonomics and design applications which reduce labor intensity and improve the working environment, fully embodies the under conditions of a new era of "people-oriented " design thinking; same time, the research results greatly improved the efficiency and yield of welding on the MCCB contacts, bring greater economic benefits for the enterprise, has broad application prospects.This article is divided in two parts, and electrical machinery to illustrate the design process. Mechanical system consists of vibrating hopper, pneumatic drives, stepper motors, ball screws and other components. Design of automatic feeding system for feeding positioning system is designed in two parts to elaborate. Electrical system consists of PLC, touch screen, welding controllers and other components. Design of electrical control systems, welding current control system designed in two parts to elaborate. This article focuses on the action of the several parts of the automatic welding equipment, which is how several parts of the system work together to achieve the ultimate aim of the work.
