When the size at the direction of a workpiece’s length and width,its ratio toward the workpiece’s thickness is larger than 4, this kind of workpieces are often called thin-walled parts. The phone and computer products are common daily life sheet metal parts. It is learned that the kind of phone and computer shell’s material has metal, plastic and carbon fiber; according to the mounting structure into out shell and inner shell. Processing method in accordance with the different materials are different, plastic are injection molding, metal shell member majority use cold pressing, die casting and CNC machining or a combination of those methods.This paper on the basis of summarizes the past manufacturing process of computer and mobile phone shells. Combined with the blank sheet metal parts forming characteristics, the deformation flow law of sheet metal parts, CNC machining process requirements and isothermal forging advantages, analysis the manufacturing process of light alloy shell, proposes isothermal forging process for light alloy shell blanks. Utilize plastic deformation simulation software--- D3Deform-. Simulate analysis the light alloy shell blank Volume forming process performed of isothermal forging, Obtained phone shell and computer shell forming process blank dimensions, mold structure, load magnitude and shaped flow characteristic data. Design eight groups of mixed orthogonal simulation for 6063 aluminum alloy shell phone four main process parameters: Initial forging temperature(390℃、420℃、450℃、480℃)、Presses downstream speed(1mm/s、5mm/s)、Friction factor(0.2、0.4)、Mold core root fillet magnitude(R0.2mm、R2mm). According to the simulation results, obtained isothermal forging process of 6063 aluminum alloy shell phone designed phone isothermal forging mold for experiment. But also simulate the computer shell of AZ31 magnesium alloy forming process. Proposes sheet modify triage method. Discuses on the effects of the shape and size of the structure of diversion channels for shaping and forming load. And through practical tests Verify simulation results.The simulation results show: The best process parameters of forging 6063 Aluminum cell phone shell is 450℃、1mm/s、0.2、R2mm, Forming load is less than 500 T. Computer shell of AZ31 magnesium alloy, when mold have diversion channels, the result is better. The forming load reduces lot, The Unicom shunt slot for forming and discharge has a good effects.Combined with the results of the simulation, design a isothermal forging die of cell phone shell, Including forming portion, heating and heat preservation device and discharging device. The processes of this experiment fill the vacancy in the shell class forming blank. From four die forging mold to just one isothermal forging mold, reduces the cost of production molds and cycle of processing a lot.
