CO2 flooding is one of the most effective field development EOR methods. Currently, inject CO2 into low permeability reservoir, Especially the low permeability complex fault block reservoir that can’t form low permeability complex block reservoir is an important topic need to research. However, the application of CO2 flooding also accompanied by many of the problems. So after master geological characteristics of oil reservoir that is suitable for CO2 flooding method, it is very important to conduct research about the impact of CO2 flooding gas breakthrough’s factors and control methods. Thus to design targeted gas injection development scheme, inhibiting and achieve maximum economic benefits.This thesis obtains the following result by the study of gas breakthrough’s mechanism and laboratory test. The serious of formation heterogeneity, the serious-er the formation heterogeneity it is, the serious-er the CO2 cusping it is. The higher the permeability it is, the easier it is going to happen. On the contrary, the lower the formation heterogeneity it is, the later it is going to happen. The discipline of CO2 flooding process is affected at many of factors.The main factors can be divided into strata, the effects of process and injection wells patterns. However, formation factor is difficult to change, only to suppress the gas breakthrough by the injection crafts and patterns of injection.For medium high permeability layer and low permeability layer, to do the research of control method, by way of the choice of well group, well pattern, injection and injection parameters selection, to obtain different control method to de-lay different type of CO2 flooding gas breakthrough. At last, Illustrate that through the adjustment of CO2 flooding crafts can achieve the gas breakthrough’s delay and EOR, and obtain good benefits of economic by application.
