| With the development of manufacture technology, metal cutting has entered a stage of high efficiency and high precision machining. In the modern manufacturing industry, the cutting force model and cutting parameters optimization in the process of NC machining become the research object of the physical simulation of the cutting process. The research of NC machining simulation technology has a certain significance to improve the quality and efficiency of NC machining. In this paper, on the basis of physical simulation of NC cutting, with the integrated use of differential geometry theory, the theory of metal cutting, cutting dynamics, machine test technology, and computer simulation technology, the paper does an in-depth research of the physical simulation technology, which contains cutting parameter optimization in the process of milling, and the establishment of the boring force model, the development of NC cutting database system. The main research contents of this paper include the following parts:1. The establishment of boring cutter force model. First of all, this paper analyzes the geometric characteristics of the boring cutter and analyzes the cutting edge element. Then the research analyzes unit force of the cutting edges to establish the relation between the micro boring force, and analyzes the force of boring cutter. Finally we get the boring force mathematical model. The orthogonal experiment is carried out to verify the boring force arrangement to collect the data of different cutting parameters and different workpiece materials are collected. The boring force in the same condition is predicted by the boring force coefficients, and the paper gets the measured and simulated of the two-dimensional curves boring force. Through the analysis of the two-dimensional curves, we can discuss the reasons of the deviation and the accuracy of the model.2. Multi-objective optimization model of milling parameters. Through the selection of design variables of CNC milling, considering the requirement of the enterprise, the paper chooses the highest machining efficiency and the lowest manufacturing cost as the target of optimization. Due to restrictions of machine tools, cutting tools, and other equipment, with the selection of cutting force, cutting power, feed rate, axial depth of cut, radial depth of cut as constraint conditions, the paper establishes NC milling parameter multi-objective optimization model. Through the analysis of the operation mode of genetic algorithm, the optimization of cutting parameters selects genetic algorithm, and the correctness and feasibility of the established mathematical model is verified by the experiment.3. The establishment of NC machining parameters database system. Through a variety of simulation models integrated with MATLAB as development tool, the paper uses Microsoft Office ACCESS 2007 to store the data of processing information, which contains the information of workpiece, machine tool, cutting tool and the processing methods, through the MATLAB GUI database to complete the human-computer interaction interface. By understanding the physical simulation technology and application of the database development, it uses the MATLAB program to realize the function of optimization of the database, prediction the cutting force, and transfer the data from the ACCESS database.Finally, a summary of the paper is given. At the same time, the further research directions are analyzed and forecasted. |
