In the use of a certain steel mill’s sintering pallets,its board often occurrence of cracking that seriously affect the ore sintering production efficiency and grade. This thesis makes study in modifying the material and the structure of the board. Analyzing crack mechanism of pallet’s board, studying the influence rule of graphitic globuring ratio and ribbed construction on crack initiation and extension. The following results were obtained.It improves composition of the original sintering pallet’s board and enhances the alloy element content such as Cr, Mo, Cu, Si. The original board equilibrium microstructure is Graphite+α, two kinds of post-optimization trial production these equilibrium microstructure are Graphite+ α +MC; The original and two trial board average graphitic globuring ratio, respectively 63.2%, 86.7%, 83.8%.The original board structure adopts the X symmetrical reinforcement method. In the process of sintering total deformation mainly exist in the junction between board upper and reinforcing rib top, deformation distribution is W-shape; Maximum principal stress mainly exist in board upper, In the top reinforcing rib of board obvious form the stress concentration.New anti-cracking board for sintering pallet, using embedded in reinforcing steel bar split compound structure; Both of the upper and the lower board ’s edge and middle embedded in reinforcing steel bar, board through bolts connection. Equipment method uses completely interchangeable assembly.Board joint design into mutual cooperation between the concave and convex backlash compensation structure, this structure reduce the air leakage rate. Through changing board structure and shape of the reinforcement, The heat deformation of new board was improved obviously, principal stress was dispersed. No longer focused on reinforcing rib.The new pallet board stress reduced the one order of magnitude compare with the original board. Through composition optimization, board structure and rib distribution and shape changing, significantly reduced the board crack probability in using.
