| The titanium alloy had been more widely used and manufacturing demand because of its irreplaceable superior characteristics. Processing of titanium alloy is an urgent problem to be solved as that titanium alloy is a typical difficult to machine materials. Plunge milling as a new way of high efficiency milling, gradually recognized by the industry, especially in aviation industry. Add the ultrasonic vibration to ordinary plunge milling make the intermittent contact in the tool and work piece to reduce the cutting force and cutting heat and enhance the quality and efficiency of machining. This dissertation focuses on cutting Ti-6Al-4V alloys by finite element method with commercial software ABAQUS.First, studying the vibration cutting mechanism and analyzed the tool trajectory, calculate cutting time during the period and reach net cutting ratio. Analyzed the relationship of net cutting ratio with cutting force and cutting temperature. Researches show that it is determinative role for cutting force and cutting temperature. To reduce the cutting force and cutting temperature helps to reduce the net cutting ratio.Next, base on the metal machining mechanism and finite element analysis, the cutting model of ordinary cutting and ultrasonic vibration cutting is built by the FE software ABAQUS, has carried on the detailed analysis for cutting Ti-6Al-4V alloys, according to the characteristic of machining, friction characteristic, constitutive model, fracture criterion, boundary conditions etc.Again, study the change rule of cutting force and cutting temperature that base on the single factor variable. The results show that the vibration amplitude can reduce cutting force and temperature, the greater amplitude, the more obvious effect. In the case of other conditions unchanged the cutting force and cutting temperature increases with the increasing of feed; In some range the cutting temperature increases with the increase of cutting speed but under the condition of cutting force in vibration cutting increases with the increasing of cutting speed, in the ordinary cutting decreases with the increasing of cutting speed.Finally, in this paper, the analysis of the cutting force and cutting temperature of vibration milling in order to further in-depth study of the cutting force,cutting temperature of tool and work piece provides reference. |
