In explosion-proof test air distribution system, mixed gas is made by controlling the flow of several materiels. In traditional gas configuration process, standard gas used in explosion-proof test is made by pinhole regulation and potentiometer regulation, which is tedious, it requires a lot of manual operation, and affected by environmental fluctuations easily. The accuracy of gas concentration is difficult to be guaranteed. The process of gas mixture is a complicated process. Gas flow control is time-varying nonlinear, and it is difficult to establish mathematical model. Therefore, in order to realize the automation of gas mixture and high accuracy of the mixed gas, this paper presents a design of a gas distribution system based on mass flow control.The mass flow control method has the advantages of high flow control precision and anti-interference ability. In this paper, a gas distribution device is designed based on the mass flow control, the PID algorithm of gas distribution control and the compensation of flow. Taking this device as the research object, the hardware selection and software development process of the comprehensive gas distribution device for explosion-proof test are described in this paper. The process flow of the gas distribution system and the measures of anti-interference in the control system are studied. The modification method of the gas distribution process is proposed, and the gas mixing device and the correction compensation method are added in the system. This greatly improves the accuracy and uniformity of the gas distribution. The two important indexes of gas concentration and uniformity are analyzed. The uncertainty of the gas distribution device is studied systematically. This paper defined the main factors that affect the system accuracy and the source of the system error. Through the practical application of the device in the explosion-proof test, by using the data of explosion-test and the curve of the test, it is proved that the mass flow control method has many advantages in the practical application.
