Small diameter aluminum alloy pipes are widely used in industry, pipe parts will be bent during the machinery manufacturing process, they need the straightening process to ensure the quality of the production. Pipes straightening have a very important role in improving the quality of pipes, so pipes straightening technology become the focus.Based on metal bending elastic-plastic theory, this paper studies the moment formula in the pipe straightening process by analyzing pipe’s stress and strain of linear hardening material. According to pipe bending section deformation rate, the formula of the minimum straightening distance between two fulcrums was established. Based on pipes’initial curvature, the model of solving the straightening distance between two fulcrums was built.The influence of the section deformation of the straightening process parameters and geometric parameters was studied through theoretical analysis and simulation results.Aluminum alloy pipe dynamic response under impact load was analyzed. Based on pipe stress load-unload model, per unit length pipe bending deformation energy equations and the energy consumption when unload of elastic area and elastic-plastic area were built, and the effects on bending deformation energy of elastic-plastic area were studied.
