In this paper, the synthesis technologies of three important intermediates have been improved and explored. Particularly, the synthesis process of 2-imidazolidinone and the synthesis conditions of N-acetyl-2-imidazolidinone and 5-nitro-furan-2-amino-imidazolidinone have been respectively improved and discussed, obtaining the optimal conditions for each processes. In addition, the target products are characterized by melting point analysis, infrared (FTIR) analysis, NMR analysis and GC-MS analysis.1. A small quantity of 2-imidazolidinone as high boiling solvent, urea, ethylene diamine and water were mixed to synthesize 2-imidazolidinone in order to advance the synthesis technology of 2-imidazolidinone. The synthesis process and the synthesis conditions of 2-imidazolidinone were explored. A series of difficulties reported previously have been improved, such as controlling the heating rate, the agglomeration of products, side reactions, etc, which would be meet the requirements of industrial production including the protection of the paddle and stirred tank, shortened the reaction time and reduced energy consumption.2. A compound of N-acetyl-2-imidazolidinone was synthesized with 2-imidazolidinone and acetic anhydride through one-pot method. The synthesis conditions of N-acetyl-2-imidazolidinone were explored from raw material ratio, heating temperature and refluxing time to obtain the optimum condition.3. The acetic acid as acylation regent, DCC (N, N-dicyclohexyl carbodiimide) as condensation agents, DMAP(4-dimethyl aminopyridine) as catalyst were mixed to synthesize N-acetyl-2-imidazolidi-none. The synthesis process and the synthesis conditions of 2-imidazolidinone were explored. And the optimum process conditions were determined.4. The 5-nitro-furan-2-amino-imidazolidinone was synthesized with raw materials of 2-imidazoli-dinone and 5-nitro-furfural through nitrosation with different acids, reduction and condensation. In addition, the synthesis conditions were explored and the optimum condition was determined.
