Young’s modulus is ability to resist deformation for material, it’s an important parameter of mechanical components, it’s a commonly used parameters in engineering. Therefore Young’s modulus measured is important.Static and dynamic measurement method of Young’s modulus require the special equipment and specimen. Therefore this paper presents the measurement method of Young’s modulus based on finite element theory. The specific contents and the main conclusions are as follows:(1) Presents three measurement method of Young’s modulus based on finite element theory. It is based on displacement, strain and modal frequencies. Use the general laboratory equipment to measurement the Young’s modulus of complex parts. Firstly, establish relationship between the stiffness matrix and the Young’s modulus in Finite Element, and analyzes the sources of error, and the impact of the measurement error and finite element calculation error to the result. Secondly, analyze the sources of error and the impact of the measurement error and finite element calculation error to the result. Finally, design the specific implementation process.(2) Use the Microsoft Visual Studio, ANSYS and C# developed the measurement platform of Young’s modulus based on the theory of the Finite Element. To simplify implementation process, saving time-consuming, reduce the workload.(3) Use the instantiated to verified, proved that this method does not require special equipment and specimens, and with high testing accuracy, have wide range of applications.
