Electrochemical machining technology is a special processing of anodic metal dissolution which is based on the electrochemical theory. But low machining accuracy is always the key problem to restrict its development. Now the simulation and experimental studies have shown that the magnetic field can affect the flow field in the machining gap. then affect the accuracy of electrochemical machining. In order to study the effect of magnetic field on electrochemical machining. Explore the specific function of the magnetic field in different intensity and different ways. The main content of this paper is to design a new cathode and fixture according to the adding mode of magnetic field, redesign of the liquid supply system in order to make the electrolyte flow rate can start from zero, two types of experiments were designed respectively:First,to study the effect of different ways of magnetic field for the flow field in the processing process under the static liquid environment. The results show that Magnetic field can drive electrolyte movement, when the direction of the magnetic field is perpendicular to the direction of the electric field, the movement direction is perpendicular to the electric field and the magnetic field;When the direction of the magnetic field is parallel to the direction of the electric field, the direction of the electrolyte flow is presented rotation around the cathode.Second,research the influence of different ways and different intensity of magnetic field on the anode metal removal in different flow velocity. The results show that when the magnetic field strength is weak, the influence degree of electrochemical machining is relatively small.The results show that the effect of electrochemical machining is relatively small when the magnetic field strength is weak.,When the intensity of the magnetic field is stronger, the influence on the electrochemical machining is more obvious. When the magnetic field intensity is 4400mT, the direction of the magnetic field is perpendicular to the direction of the electric field and the direction of the flow field, the promotion range of magnetic field to electrochemical machining is 20L/h-105L/h, When the direction of the magnetic field is parallel to the direction of the electric field and perpendicular to the direction of the flow field, the promotion range of magnetic field to electrochemical machining is 55L/h-105L/h, When the direction of the magnetic field is parallel to the direction of the flow field and perpendicular to the direction of the electric field, the promotion range of magnetic field to electrochemical machining is 20L/h-120L/h. When the direction of the magnetic field is parallel to the direction of the flow field and perpendicular to the direction of the electric field, the metal removal quantity of the electrolytic process is the strongest, The influence is small when the direction of the magnetic force and the direction of the electric field and the direction of the flow field are vertical. The influence is the least when the direction of the magnetic field is parallel to the direction of the electric field and perpendicular to the direction of the field.
