This paper researched on the two practical problems of the dyeing factory. The one was to use acid dye to study the union dyeing of spun silk and mercerized wool blended yarn, the other was to improve the perspiration fastness of nylon fabric processed with acid dye.(1)The union dyeing of spun silk and mercerized wool blended yarn: First,this researched and compared the dyeing differences of the spun silk and mercerized wool fiber with the spun silk/mercerized wool blended yarn dyeing in one bath and different bath under the conventional dyeing process, then the union color evaluation index had been made. Secondly a new process of dyeing,which include the sodium benzoate instead of the sodium sulphate and benzyl alcohol modification to study the new dyeing technology of acid dyes, was invented. and the effect of various process factors have on the the dyeing property of the mercerized wool and spun silk fiber with the blended yarn dyeing in one bath and different bath was discussed. The results showed that 1) the mercerized wool and spun silk fibers had significant differences in dyeing with one bath or different bath, with the increase of dye concentration, the dyeing differences became larger, and the varieties of acid dye also caused significant dyeing differences.2)The optimized process of dyeing: sodium benzoate 40g/L, benzyl alcohol 1% o.w.f,levelling agent A 1% o.w.f,pH was 5.5,dyeing temperature was 95℃,and dyeing time of heat preservation was 60 min.3)The optimized dyeing process was superior to the Conventional dyeing process, which could improve the union dyeing property of the spun silk/mercerized wool blended yarn.(2)To improve the perspiration fastness of nylon fabric: First,the research around the problem that the perspiration fastness agent SF-30 A will cause rubbing fastness to drop when it was finishing the nylon fabric, then the impact of the homologue of SF-30 A(SF-30 B, SF-30 C) on the fastness of nylon fabric was discussed; Secondly the optimized perspiration fastness agent combination scheme was explored by used the perspiration fastness agent combined with the wet rubbing fastness improver(HS-222, SD-81), or adhesive SD-20,or cross-linking agent 602, or acrylate monomer, or softener SF, or thickener PTF-A. finally compared with the Commercially available fixing agent. The results showed that 1) When the research finished the nylon dyeing and printing fabric with the perspiration fastness agent SF-30 A and its homologue, the perspiration fastness improved, but it would reduce the wet rubbing fastness. 2) When the perspiration fastness agent SF-30 A combined with the optimized functional monomer(Di-TMPTA or BPA2 EODMA monomers),the perspiration fastness of nylon printed fabric had a big enhancement, but wet rubbing fastness was lower slightly, and the fastness of nylon was better than the fininshing with combination of SF-30 A and wet rubbing fastness improver HS-222,or adhesive SD-20 B. 3) When perspiration fastness agent SF-30 C combined with thickener PTF-A, the perspiration and rubbing fastness of the nylon dyed fabric was all good, better than the commercially available fixing agent; But when finishing the nylon with combination of SF-30 C with rubbing fastness agent SD-81,or adhesives SD-20 B, or cross-linking agent 602,or softener SF, or optimized functional monomer(Di-TMPTA or BPA2 EODMA monomers), the improvement of the perspiration and rubbing fastness was all inferior.
