Study On Weft Yarn Behavior Under The Putting Of Tortuous Shape Reed

The fabric whose weft yarn weaved with warp yarn by tortuous shape has a unique texture. These products have a certain market attention in recent years.At present, some of the technical research and product development focused on tortuous weave of warp yarn,weft tortuous weave product development is limited to the laboratory,several literature and published patent are mentioned using tortuous shape line beating to achieve weft tortuous arrangement,but it actually has more complex interaction between interweave and reed beating, it is worthy of further study whether weft yarn will obey beating tortuous line shape.This article first selected homemade fixed tortuous reed and small width straight reed to do putting test,preliminary verify whether weft yarn can form tortuous interwoven with warp yarn,then selected the configuration related to the machine for further testing.Developed a special tortuous shape reed can change the shape,and did sample test,using the method of image pickup to get the image of multiple time periods in the weft putting by the reed. Established consistent analysis method,selected a few key locations as test points,studied and analyzed the consistency relationship of weft yarn shape and reed shape under the beating of single and mutative tortuous reed.The final conclusion is:The verification experiment indicated that tortuous linear reed putt weft can form tortuous interwoven with warp yarn,but there has the phenomenon of weft backwash and weakened of the ups and downs tortuous shape.Compared different sample configuration,Selecting spun yarn as weft and warp yarn and biggish weft density and plain weave and suitable warp tension can get the sample with better relative morphology.Weft curve shape formed by reed beating be affected by the bending extent of male and female slider,and The most significant impact is at the pit at the direction of the beating.Whether during the beating or after the beating,when the design angle of Male and female positioning plate is less than 35°,Weft yarn and reed shape will have a highergoodness of fit.This will do help to the controlling of the weft curve shape.Different forms of weft yarn beat by changing,when the change extent is small, the weft yarn will be affected by the inherent shape of the weft yarn earlier,and it has the biggest effect on the weft yarn curve shape around the pit,but,the effect is not obvious when the design angle of male and female positioning plate is less than 35°. It can not affect the forming of the weft curved fabric which has a changed shape,but,there is a certain degree of difficulty to the controlling of the overall shape of weft yarn on the fabric.In order to weave the controllable weft curve shape fabric,we must do a specific design to the tortuous shape reed,it can not be bend arbitrarily,the reed bending form should be easing based on the insuring of the weft curve shape.According to the reed design and the beating way of this article,we must ensure that the design angle of male and female positioning plate is less than 35°.
