Abstract/Summary:
This paper has analysis research according to rectangular tooth which belongs sector plate on the coiling drum emerged fracture when coiling drum on coiling machine of hot galvanizing line of cold rolling was in use of the actual work,lead to coiling drum can not drawing down normally in the discharging coil, which can not automatically discharge coil, hinder the normal production of coil product. Through access to a large number of technical literature, summarizes the domestic and foreign various types of research methods, in order to reflect the actual force and deformation in the production process more realisticly,determined to use the finite element method in order to analyze and solve practical problems. First of all,according force condition in the work we select and calculate parameters of force and function, and then apply the finite element software to simulate force situation on the sector plate and core shaft which are core components on the coiling drum. Through the finite element analysis and calculation,we can find the weak parts which have larger force and deformation. Refering the advantages and disadvantages of various coilng drum structures, re optimize and improve the weak parts, and put forward a new type of coiling drum structure, so we design a new type of sector plate and core shaft. Then the finite element software is used to analyze the stress and deformation of the new design of the sector plate and the core shaft,which is used to verify the effect after improved. Finally, the improved effect of the scheme is verified by the experimental data of the product. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Through access to a large number of references, lists research methods of experts and scholars at home and abroad for coiling machines. In order to solve fracture problem of rectangular tooth of sector plate, decided to use the method of finite element to analize stress and deformation.(2) Analize the composition and working principle of the coiling drum,find out sector plate and positive four pyramid axis as the key components,then analize and calculate the main force and function parameters,utilize finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench to conduct finite element analysis for the sector plate and core shaft before improved,find out the weak parts with larger stress and deformation,analize the weak parts.(3) Integrate the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of common coiling drum structure,according to the finite element analysis result of force and deformation of the weak parts of sector plate and core shaft in front,propose the structure scheme of a new type of coiling drum,and compare the difference,advantages and disadvantages in design between the new coiling drum and the original drum.(4) Analize the force of the new type of coiling drum,calculate and check the strength of the coiling drum. Then utilize the finite element analysis method to conduct the finite element analysis for the key components sector plate and the core shaft after improved,and verify the feasibility of the scheme,then through the performance experiment further verify the effect after improved.
