Resorcincalix arenes are a class of macrocyclic polymers obtained by the reaction to connect phenol with methylene bridge on the ortho position, They have a unique cavity structure and can be embellished by functional groups and they can be used as molecular receptors, enzyme mimics, drug delivery carriers, nanomaterials protection agents and guidance and so on. In the 21st century they were widely used in life science, environmental science, energy science, information science and materials science of the emerging field, which was highly anticipated by experts and scholars. In this paper, we synthesized a series of new resorcincalix [4] arene derivatives by introduced functional small droups to C2 position of tetraformylres orcin[4]arene and we also studied the catalytic properties of its metal complexes compounds in multicomponent reaction and studied the the application of water-soluble calixarenes in Nanomaterials. The main interesting results were achieved fellows:1. We successfully synthesized 17 new resorcincalix [4] arene derivatives by introduce 3-aminopyri dine,3-(Aminomethyl)pyridine, Salicylhydrazide, Picolinylhydrazide groups to C2 position of tetraformylresorcin[4]arene. All the new compounds were identified by NMP and IR spectra, Four productions were characterized by HRMS spectra, a single crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction method.2. We successfully synthesized 10 new resorcincalix [4] arene derivatives by the condensation reaction of tetraformylresorcin[4]arene with glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride and ethyl L-alaninate hydrochloride respectively. We also synthesized and detected by ultraviolet spectrum a series of metal complexes of the Schiff base which was obtained by the reaction of teraformylresorcin[4]arene with Glycine ethyl ester hydrochloride. We also studied the catalytic properties of the metal compounds in the multicomponent reaction of salicy laldehyde,1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and amino compounds, by this catalytic reaction we achieved 4 new compounds. The 14 new compounds were identified by NMP, IR spectra, and six were characterized by HRMS spectra, two single crystal structures were determined by X-ray diffraction method.3. Water-soluble tetra (3-azocino-N-butyric acid-4) resorcin[4]arene was obtained from Glycine ethyl ester Schiff base resorcin[4]arene by reduction/hydrolysis reaction used Sodium borohydride and Hydrochloric Acid. The result compounds were identified by NMP and IR spectra. We found that as template, dispersant and protectant. tetra (3-azocino-N-butyric acid-4) resorcin[4]arene can affect with ZnO to be turned to flower-like ZnO micronanomaterials, Which was characterized by FE-SEM, XRD, IR. UV, PL spectra et al. The experimental results show that the flower-like ZnO micronanomaterials can photocatalytic degradation of methyl violet under the condition of ultraviolet and visible light irradiation. It is expanding the range of ZnO micronanomaterials application.
