poly(arylene ether sulfone) containing bisphenol acid is a kind of adsorbent with high efficiency and fast heavy metal adsorption capacity. The dynamic adsorption performances of poly(arylene ether sulfone) containing bisphenol acid to the single heavy metal system and hybrid heavy metal system, were explored. Besides, the regeneration adsorption capacity of the adsorbent were studied.In this thesis, The poly(arylene ether sulfone) adsorbent with bisphenol acid for adsorbing material were synthesized. The first measure of its molecular weight, followed by characterization of adsorbents FT-IR, 1HNMR, SEM,EDS, TGA and ESC means the morphology and structure. The experimental results show that the poly(arylene ether sulfone)containing bisphenol acid has not only a more uniform pore structure, but also has good thermal stability and mechanical properties. Therefore, the poly(arylene ether sulfone) with bisphenol acid can be used under more severe conditions.The column adsorption breakthrough curve were affected by the initial concentration of heavy metal ion, the initial velocity, pH value and the absorbent quality.The dynamic adsorption capacity of Cu2+, Pb2+ and Cd2+ on poly(arylene ether sulfone) adsorbent containing bisphenol acid were studied,. And, the column adsorption breakthrough curve were affected by the initial concentration of heavy metal ion, the initial velocity, pH valueand the absorbent quality.Thomas model and Yoon-Nelson model were used to analyze the dynamic adsorption curve experimental. The results show that: in the single component adsorption system, the saturation adsorption amount of PAES-C-Na adsorbed metal ions was Pb2+ > Cd2+ > Cu2+.Yet in the more component competitive adsorption of metal ions system, the order of the saturation adsorption capacity was Pb2+ > Cu2+ > Cd2+. The results also show Bisphenol acid poly(aryenel ether sulfone) adsorbent with bisphenol acid can effectively remove heavy metal ions in water.The solution concentration and flow rate of the water have a greater impact on the breakthrough curves. The adsorption capacity with the increasing of the initial concentration was increased, but with the increase of the flow rate was decreased; The breakthrough time was decreased with increasing initial concentration and flow rate.The three adsorption--desorption regeneration experimental results of the poly(aryenel ether sulfone) adsorbent with bisphenol acid show that the regenerated adsorbent still good adsorption capacity. And its surface morphology has not changed.
