Prairie cultural sites as an important symbol of Chinese civilization, which reflects the development process and foreign exchange tracks of Steppe nomads, this paper relies on the grassland area of cultural sites, select the Xanadu site as typical research area of Gr assland culture since the Xanadu is not only our best preserved grassland capital and a wo rid Heritage Site, more importantly, as the representative of the Yuan culture in recent yea rs,the influences of the regional ecological environment caused by man-made and natu ral factors has been increasing. Therefore, evaluating ecological risk so as to develop and pro tect the site scientifically and rationally has been the critical factor of protecting and herit aging the grassland culture sites. Based on essay the four remote sensing image data of 19 85 a,2000a,2005a,2010a, defining the scope of the evaluation and receptor analysis to build ecological risk evaluation system by analysis of main source of risk, applying Fuz zy comprehensive evaluation calculated 1985a,2000a,2005a,2010a comprehensive risk measure, drawing regional spatial distribution of risk and propose appropriate risk manag ement measures by plotting the study area regional risk level map. Specific results show that:(1) Landscape classification is divided into nine types of grassland, woodland, farm land, desert, water, urban land, rural residents were points, barren wasteland, land for con struction according to natural ecological environment of grassland cultural sites. For estar ea increased by 85 km2 on 25 years, with an average annual increase of 3.4 km2; while the cultivated area increased by 488 km, with an average annual increase of 19.01 km2, An in crease of more significant; sandy area showed a trend of first increase decrease, the total reduction of 250 km2, an overall decrease of grassland area 100.77 km2.(2) We identify the main sources of risk for the natural kind:temperature, Precipitat ion, soil erosion. Human disturbance:tourism development, agricultural development, mi ning and industrial development, water resources development, urbanization and the expa nsion of road construction. The overall change in climate was warming and drying trend; temperature and arable land, sand, water area larger negative correlation, positive correla tion with saline larger; and precipitation and forest land, residential land larger po sitive correlation with negative correlation representing notable.(3) Based on the Ecological risk assessment and PSY model of America.we constr-ucted all grassland ecological risk evaluation system of cultural sites on the yuan. The sy-stem is divided into four levels and 15 indicators, including the target layer, criterion lay er, feature layer, index layer, which reflect the system of the basic connotation of cultu-ral sites grassland ecological risk assessment. We drawing regional ecological risk assess-ent moment of different kinds of Xanadu site, in which 1985,2000, the risk level II,200-5, 2010 Level III risk, showing ecological risk overall upward trend, the overall ecologic al moderate low level of risk.(4) By plotting the 2010 risk map, we obtained regional distribution of ecological risk, the overall risk is uneven distribution, risk area is divided into five risk levels. Amon g them, the high-risk areas located in highly urbanized cities and towns along with the sandy Hunshandake lightning River zonal distribution. Landscape types are mainly in the rural landscape Habitat name points, the Mining Industry, the main tourist spots. Based on this, it provides advice and appropriate risk management countermeasures for the element on both sites protected landscape ecological construction, and provide theoretical guidan-ce for improving the ecological environment of the study area and maintenance area.
