Because of PAMAM has special molecular structure, clear molecular weight and controllable molecular shape, it has become one of the fastest-growing dendrimer. PAMAM has hydrocarbon chain which has lipophilicity and amino groups which has hydrophilic, it can interact with the emulsifier which is in oil-water interface, it has good demulsification effect. Based on this view and previous research work, PAMAM-G0.5 of ester groups with ehtylenediamine core is synthesized by Micheal addition reaction, on the basis of it, we compounded the PAMAM-G1.0 and PAMAM-G2.0 of amino groupsOn the basis of the synthesis, we study the interaction between different types of surfactants with PAMAM in aquous solution. We chose sulfonic anionic surfactant SDS and petroleum sulfonate, quaternany cationic surfactant DTAB and CTAB, polyether non-ionic surfactant OP-7 as represent, adopting dynamic light scattering, fluorescence spectrum, turbidity analysis, when the interaction has been happened between PAMAM and it, we investigated the changes of median size, hydrophobic, turbidity for aggregate in water solution and studied the influence of surfactant concentration, PAMAM concentration, action time, p H value on the progress. The results show that PAMAM-G0.5 can easily interacte with SDS, but the interaction between PAMAM-G0.5 and DTAB is not obvious. On the contrary, amino- PAMAM can strong interacte with anionic surfactant, and compared with PAMAM-G1.0, PAMAM-G2.0 has a great force. OP-7 can combine both of them by hydrophobic interaction, and because of amino PAMAM has a bigger internal cavity comparing with eater PAMAM, it can stronger interact with OP-7.In order to verify the interaction in the application of the simulated emulsion, we used the nonionicanionic mixed surfactants as emulsifier to prepare O/W simulation emulsion and studied the demulsification performance by bottle method, and then we studied the demulsification mechanism of PAMAM by single drop method. The result shows that the PAMAM-G1.0 and PAMAM-G2.0 have good demulsification performance. With the increasing concentration of PAMAM, the demulsification rate is increasing and the interfacial film strength is decreasing. The rule is consistent with the interaction between PAMAM and sulfactant, when PAMAM come into the oil crude emulsion, it can interact with sulfactant in oil-water interface and destruct closed ordered arrangement, at last it reduce the intensity of the interfacial film and become demulsification. The paper preliminary illustrate the PAMAM demulsification mechanism from the perspective of the interaction between PAMAM and sulfactant.
