Many long roadway engineerings with bigger diameter,used to water diversion,are buried underdeep strata with complex geological condition,traditional mining digging machine can not meet the needs of the times. The TBM quickly becomes the first construction choice because of its advantage of the unparalleled speed. Nowadays domestic TBM is more and more applying in the roadways construction, and there are short of scientific and systematic management experience as a guide,therefore, the application of TBM construction is certainly not smooth sailing. Structure composition of TBM mechanical equipment, the prophase prepare work, and the various links involved in the application is systematicly analyzed. The main disadvantage of TBM construction is restricted by the geological condition,and the theory of TBM breaking up rock is put forward, and more the geological factors affecting the TBM’s boring capability and efficiency are analyzed. TBM construction process principle and process flow, and the TBM construction method is further detailed, and the TBM corresponding construction methods in poor geological conditions is proposed.1415A tunnel in Zhangji north mining roadway takes the lead in the introduction of TBM, and it opens a new chapter in the global coal mining excavation.Through the analysis and monitoring of roadway surrounding rock geological conditions,finishing a design, in addition,using the FLAC3D software to simulate support of deep mine roadways, a variety of roadway supporting schemes is abtained and compared. At last, the engineer example is given, to analyze detailedly the application of TBM and precise supporting design form in the roadway project.
