With the rapid development of economy in our country and the urgent needs of the coal mine safety, setting up efficient and safe coal mine communication system is of great significance for ensuring personnel safety and promoting the development of coal energy. The coal mine wireless channel is the foundation of mine wireless communication research. To analysis and research the coal mine wireless channel propagation characteristics has always been a mine wireless communication difficulties in the field of study. This paper studies the coal mine wireless channel characteristic, the mine wireless channel are analyzed on the basis of the modeling method, finally the mine MIMO channel modeling and simulation. In this paper, the main work and innovation are as follows.First of all, introduce the research status of the coal mine wireless channel, analyze the main reasons of the wireless channel fading and the basic form of the wireless channel fading, important theoretical significance for the research of mine wireless channel and mine wireless channel model.Secondly, combining with the actual environment of coal mine, the coal mine wireless channel characteristic is studied. In this paper, the general characteristics of the coal mine wireless channel is analyzed and a study of the important parameters of the coal mine wireless channel is presented and the complicated factors on the impact of the coal mine wireless channel are introduced. Through the simulation analysis of different structure of roadway, circular tunnels in horizontal polarization mode and vertical polarization mode are not only associated with the transmission frequency of the signal attenuation, also associated with the change of Angle, moreover empty arch tunnel rock parameters, the relative dielectric constant factors such as energy consumption can cause mine wireless channel. Mine laneway wall roughness simulation studies show that roughness of mine wireless channel to accept have important influence power and RMS delay spread.Finally, in the coal mine based on the analysis of the characteristics of wireless channel, the mine wireless channel is modeled and simulated. The coal mine wireless channel modeling methods mainly include empirical modeling and modeling uncertainty. This paper uses the empirical modeling of Clarke model to mine flat fading channel and frequency selective fading channel simulation analysis. The simulation shows that mine wireless signal transmission to the receiver in flat fading channel of received signal power attenuation, basically does not exist and has nothing to do with the phase of signal; Small scale decline of mine wireless signal, the envelope distribution obeys Rayleigh distribution; Different signal path in flat fading channel delay spread, and mutual interference between different path signal phenomenon is more serious. In view of the coal mine wireless channel multipath fading effect, using the deterministic modeling of geometrical optics method to establish the mine GBDB model of MIMO channel, the MIMO channel characteristic has carried on the simulation analysis. Based on the spatial correlation influence on channel capacity attenuation, an improved mine MIMO system is introduced, the simulation shows that the smart antenna technology to improve the traditional MIMO channel, effectively improving the transfer rate of channel and channel noise resistance.
