For a long time our country focuses on prevention and treatment of industrial pollution in work of environment and have a lack of corresponding measures and management experiences to prevent and control agricultural pollution of livestock manure, therefore leads to the serious lag of livestock pollution. With the increasing number and size of livestock breeding, the amount of livestock manure increases rapidly and concentrates highly. A lot of greenhouse gas is produced during livestock manure composting and it is an important source of greenhouse gas emissions. In order to research the emission of greenhouse gas during livestock manure composting and provide the basis for reduction of greenhouse gas emission and effective utilization of livestock manure, this study selects different dairy manure to carry out the compost experiment and research greenhouse gases(CH4, CO2 and N2O) variation in composting as well as the change of carbon and nitrogen content of cow manure. The different dairies are fed different dietarywith and without the nitrate The main conclusions are as follows:1.The addition of nitrate in the dietary increased the greenhouse gas emissions from the manure accumulation process. In the whole stacking test, the cumulative emission yields of three kinds of greenhouse gases CO2, CH4 and N2 O in the nitric acid added group were respectively 33.25%, 15.52% and 121.43% higher than those in the group without nitric acid. The cumulative emission yield of N2 O in the nitric acid added group had larger gap than that in the group without nitric acid. The total greenhouse effect in the nitric acid added group was37.27% higher than that in the group without nitric acid.2.The volatility of ammonia emission was relatively large in the cow manure accumulation process. Adding nitrate to the dietary had no effect on the emission of ammonia in the process of cow manure accumulation. The emission of ammonia gas in the pile had a certain relationship with the change of air temperature.Nitrate additive increased the loss of C in the first 71 days of accumulation process, while the loss of N showed no significant difference.3.Carbon lost mainly in the form of carbon dioxide. C in the nitric acid added group lost9.09% in the form of CO2, while 5.78% in the group without nitric acid. Nitrogen evaporated out in the form of ammonia. N in the nitric acid added group lost 0.067% in the form of ammonia, while 0.068% in the group without nitric acid.4.This study was in the winter season, the organic matter degradated slowly, ammonia volatilization was in low emissions and slow release process. The emission characteristics in other seasons need to be further verified.
