The Research Of Revegetation Technical Of Water-level Fluctuation Zone(WLFZ) In Reservoir Of South China

This paper screened several plants suitable for revegetation of reservoir Water-level-fluctuation zone(WLFZ),throwing simulated screening experiment and WLFZ’experimental planting trial. Different plants configuration mode for three kinds of WLFZ in South China has been reached, on this basis, proposing some technical scheme for planting recovery of WLFZ. Finally, discussed the economical and technical feasibility by means of analysis of prices.In this study, some relevant physiological and biochemical indices has been measured to assess six herbaceous plants’ resistence to drought,flooding and infertility, these plants comprised of Panicum repens, Leersia hexandra Swartz., Vetiveria zizanioides, Cynodon dactylon, Phragmites australis and Arundo donax. Results demonstrate the best adaptive plant for inundation is Panicum repens and Cynodon dactylon, at the same time, this two plants possess better resistant ability to drought by synthesis all plants’variation of physiological and biochemical indices, and in the experiment of nutritional status’ assessment, Panicum repens has the best growth in the soil of strong weathering, then Cynodon dactylon and Vetiveria zizanioides, conclusion summarized from previous study review that Panicum repens and Cynodon dactylon are the best herbaceous plant suitable for WLFZ in South China. On the other hand, Cleistocalyx operculatus, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Elaeocarpus hainanensis, Syzygium jambos, Pueraria lobata, Wedelia chinensis, Digitaria sanguinalis and two plants screened from previous screening experiment chose as the trial plants in the experimental planting of Xinfengjiang reservoir. A case study of Xinfengjiang reservoir shows that Panicum repens and Wedelia chinensis can recover rapidly after flooding, and Panicum repens owns the best biomass and coverage scale on the 30th day after immergence, the value of these index is 621.32g/m2 and 41.67% respectively, at the same time, Panicum repens obtain the best growing speed and Wedelia chinensis possess the highest coverage speed, but Digitaria sanguinalis has vanished and Cynodon dactylon appeared sprouting on the 30th day after immergence; Cleistocalyx operculatus grows best in all arbor after flooding,it can grow new leaves at the 2ed day after immergence, all arbor except Elaeocarpus hainanensis can recover rapidly; Pueraria lobata possess the best coverage in the non-flooding district. To sum up, Panicum repens and Cleistocalyx operculatus evaluated as the pioneer plant suitable for WLFZ of South China, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Syzygium jambos and Wedelia chinensis chose as the supplementary plant suitable for WLFZ of South China, Elaeocarpus hainanensis and Digitaria sanguinalis evaluated as non-suitable plant for WLFZ of South China, and Pueraria lobata can also as the supplementary plant. The experimental planting can enhance biodiversity of the WLFZ to some extent.On the basis of previous study,plant screening technique,plant configuration technique and planting recovery technique have been reached. Concluded the screening technique route via summarizing conclusion of screening experiment and analysis of exiting study, that can provide a reference for screening experiment in other place and later revegetation study. According to the characteristic of the WLFZ in Xinfengjiang reservoir, it can be split into soil texture type, island type and lithology type, then proposed several planting recovery mode combining relevant scientific/suitable plant configuration mode for the correspondent WLFZ type and off-set utilities. The recovery mode of soil texture WLFZ take Panicum repens and Cleistocalyx operculatus as the principle plant and other suitable plants as the assist, island type WLFZ take the recovery mode of Panicum repens+Cleistocalyx operculatus(lm)+ Cleistocalyx operculatus(3.5m)+ Cynodon dactylon, lithology type adopt simple recovery mode of Pueraria lobata+ Wedelia chinensis. The economical and technical nalysis of revegetation program shows that three recovery mode of reservoir WLFZ is feasible, and analysis reviwed that the cost of island type mode is highest, reached 178384 yuan/10000m2. Technology integration and analysis of cost can provide scientific guidance and reference for planting recovery study and planting engineering of WLFZ in South China.
