| More and more attention has been taken to ethanol producing by using lignocellulose. Pentose is the main product of hemicellulose hydrolysis, but the yield of pentose fermentation to produce ethanol is not high. Fusarium oxysporum is one of superiority strains that ferment pentose to ethanol in nuture.Fusarium oxysporum pentose fermentation is introduced in this paper.First, this paper has selected the G, M to ferment xylose and G, H to ferment arabinose, their ethanol yield respectively are 0.22 g/g,0.18 g/g and 0.24 g/g,0.21 g/g.Secondly, the fermentation characteristics of fusarium oxysporum is studied in this paper. Including the xylose or arabinose as sole carbon source of fermentation system as well as glucose with xylose mixture medium fermentation. Results are as follows:Through the single factor experiments, the main influence factors of xylose fermentation are confirmed. Optimized conditions for G xylose fermentation was optimized by Response surface test:the initial pH= 4, concentration of xylose is 4% and fermentation temperature is 32 ℃ when ethanol content up to 10.00 g/L. For M:the initial pH= 4, fermentation temperature 30℃ and table speed 110 r/min when ethanol content up to 5.03 g/L.The arabinose fermentation tests proved that G fermentation ability was slightly better than H.The arabinose fermentation characteristics of the two strains are roughly same. The seventh day, ethanol concentration are 5.97 g/L,6.43 g/L, G and H, respectively.Mix sugar fermentation results showed that the xylose as single carbon source to product ethanol has poor effect than in the mixed sugar. In the mixed sugar system, fusarium oxysporum G ferment glucose first, then ferment glucose and xylose at the same time. The seventh day, ethanol concentration is 2.93g/L. |
