The Research On The Factors Affecting The Environmental Responsibility Status Of Manufacturing Listed Enterprises Of China

Enterprise is the basic unit of the national economy development, it’s also the creator of environment pollution, especially manufacturing industry belongs to the resource intensive industries, its production process of high energy consumption, high pollution, and high emissions; it will no doubt causes adverse effect to environment protection. As the world’s largest developing country, China is also the states party of the Kyoto protocol, in order to effectively reduce the pollution, to achieve emission reduction targets; it is bound to put the key point of pollution control focus on manufacturing. In addition, with the rapid development of economic globalization, green manufacturing standard is becoming a big barrier of our country manufacturing industry facing to enter the international market, both inside and outside pressure make the development of manufacturing industry in China facing an unprecedented threat. Frequent contamination in our country, the point of national development and environment friendly society, how to lead manufacturing actively perform environmental responsibility becomes the key of the current environmental protection work.Overall, China’s enterprises to perform environmental responsibility is still in the exploration period, the relevant laws and regulations are not sound, enterprise performance of the environmental responsibility is still in the state of passive and watching. On the basis of combing the domestic and foreign enterprise environment responsibility research, paper puts forward the concept of environmental responsibility status. On this basis, combining previous research and the situation of development of manufacturing industry in our country, respectively from the macro, meso and micro angle may affect environmental responsibility status of manufacturing listed companies. Due to the influence of the objective conditions such as the availability of data, Paper finally chooses 90 manufacturing listed companies as research samples, and collects the related data of 2011-2013, using the least squares regression analysis carried out on the sample data. Through empirical study, this paper has the following conclusions: the enterprise scale, the regional economic development level, the average age of the executives, enterprise market performance and year of enterprise set up have positive influence on environmental responsibility status, corporate profitability, ownership concentration and corporate executives sex ratio and level of education are to a certain extent, negatively related to the corporate environmental responsibility responsibilities status. Consumer market preferences, the risk resistance ability of the enterprise, enterprise nature and area residents’ environmental awareness are not through the test of significance. In view of the thesis concluded, in order to improve the corporate environmental responsibility status, presents the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Finally, summarizes the shortcomings in the thesis research and direction for improvement.Paper based on the related theory and study, has empirical research for the factors influencing environmental liability status of listed enterprises of manufacturing. On structure, it is divided into six parts. The first chapter is introduction, mainly introduces the development and research status of environmental responsibility in our country, on this basis, expounds the thesis research ideas, research methods and innovations, and so on. The second chapter for the related theories expounds the meanings of the environmental responsibility and accountability of status, and studies the related theories, lays a solid theoretical basis for thesis writing. The third chapter for the environmental responsibilities status study design, determines the environmental responsibility status and its factors, and based on the principle of the internalization of external variables, further determines the variables of the various factors. The fourth chapter for the empirical research takes responsibility status and its influence factors in the regression and analyzes the empirical results. The fifth chapter on the basis of the result of the empirical analysis elaborates the research conclusion, and targeted countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward. The sixth part is the conclusion of the paper, and points out the shortcomings of the research and the direction of improvement.
