Tunnel kiln is one of the most important equipment of ceramic sanitary ware production, whose firing quality will directly affect the cost of production and efficiency. Traditionally, the firing quality is mainly regulated through artificial experience, but this approach has failed to meet the full requirements of industrial ceramics production, mainly because most researches focuses on ensuring the quality of combustion, ignoring the energy problem. Some scholars take the balance of energy consumption into account, but failing to pointing out the relationship between energy consumption and energy consumption and ignoring the firing quality. However, the realization of the energy saving optimization of tunnel kiln, both quality and energy consumption, has been an urgent in the requirement of the energy-saving and emission reduction of ceramic enterprises.In this thesis, the combustion quality model and energy consumption model have been established, which the gas velocity, combustion air velocity and height of the furnace are the independent variables, to improve combustion quality, reducing energy consumption at the same time, based on the research object of sanitary ceramic tunnel kiln, proposing a new energy consumption optimization method for tunnel kiln on the basis of numerical simulation. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1、 A tunnel kiln energy consumption model based on heat balance principle has been established through the analysis of the heat absorption and expenditure pattern of combustion process, in the light of process characteristics and energy consumption characteristics, revealing the relationships between energy consumption and gas velocity, wind speed and combustion furnace height and so on.2、A tunnel kiln combustion model has been proposed on the foundation of numerical simulation, in which the production process is abstracted into a continuous process in the premise of tunnel kiln structure and production characteristics, constructs a three-dimensional model and determines boundary conditions of the tunnel kiln thermal characteristics, analyzing the combustion process through (Computational Fluid Dynamics based on computational fluid dynamics, CFD).3^ A multi-objective optimization model which takes the combustion quality and energy consumption as the goal based on numerical simulation. Temperature variation regularity in the kiln has been revealed, under the content of different combinations of parameters, using numerical simulation, and the temperature-field-oriented uniformity coefficient is defined to value the combustion quality, establishing the combustion quality model based on the neural network model, obtaining the multi-objective optimization through genetic algorithm in the combination of tunnel kiln energy consumption model.In conclusion, an energy consumption optimization simulation system aimed at tunnel kiln through the Matrix laboratory (Matlab) software, has been built, including energy consumption module, combustion quality module and energy consumption optimization module, to provide support for energy optimization based on numerical simulation.
