This article has done some investigations to the isotope-shift and hyperfine structure (HFS) of atomic nitrogen. The study also analyzed the absorption spectrum of the ozone.Atomic nitrogen is of great relevance in many chemical and physical processes such as, for instance, atmospheric physics, combustion kinetics, plasma physics, and astrophysics. This article has done the measurement of the isotope-shift spectrum of the atom nitrogen in the waveband of 11300-13000cm-1, including 3 s 4PJ â†' 3p 4D°J, 3s 4Pj â†' 3p4Pd°J,3s2DJâ†'5p2D°J and 3p 2PoJâ†'5s 2PJ transitions. And the 3s 4PJâ†'3p4D°J,3s 4PJâ†'3p 4P°J transitions’ isotope-shift are fully obtained for the first time, specially. This is an advantage for the investigation of the J-dependent of the atom nitrogen. The article also investigated the hyperfine structures of some transitions in the near infrared. To obtain the value of magnetic-dipole (A) and the electicquadrupole (B) coupling constants, it did some calculate with the fitted spectrum. But the error may be not small because the splitting is too close, and it is hard to get the accurate positions. The writer use discharge method to obtain the absorption spectrum of the ozone in the wavenumber of 11300-13000cm-1. This region may be the mixture of the band Wulf and Chappuis in some study. So it is difficult to label the lines.
