With the continuous development of national economy, the nation requirements for security protection of life and the ecological environment are becoming more and more strict. Therefore, selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx project constructions have to be carried on to the thermal power plants of China. SCR projects of thermal power plants are normal in size, but many specialties are involved including civil engineering, structure engineering, process engineering, heating and ventilation engineering, thermal control engineering, equipment engineering and so on. Meanwhile construction period is limited and emergency happens quite often. So the schedule management is especially important in the whole SCR project management system.This thesis is based on the schedule management theory of project management,and combined with characteristics of Shanxi pucheng SCR projects, to discuss and study schedule optimization and control in specific project. The main work and creativity are as follows:(1) Describe the overview construction organization and management of the SCR project, introduce the main contents of the project, construction organization and resource allocation, selection of construction scheme selection and the major technical measures, and through the construction organization describe characteristics of SCR projects.(2) Through the analysis of construction schedule network diagram, considering the SCR project of the characteristics of engineering technology and construction, complete cost optimization, time optimization, resource optimization.(3) Investigate SCR schedule control work, and introduce the control and test of construction schedule, comparing methods of construction schedule, adjusting methods in the construction schedule.(4) According to the issue of the control and optimization of SCR project, point out a brand-new nonlinear cost optimization calculation method.With environmental protection laws of China gradually improving, the atmospheric pollution reduction work has been carrying on intensively. Now some general contract units lack of engineering management experience, compress the schedule on the SCR without scientific authorization which cannot reduce the period of a project, instead it brings about other problems such as delay the construction period even lead to the serious casualties. Therefore, appropriate schedule optimization and control for SCR projects carrying on smoothly and safely is of great engineering, economic and social significance.
