In the current field of domestic polyester production, the controlling for chemical producing mainly depends on the instrumentation or the combination of instrumentation and manual work to achieve monitoring. Under this circumstance, It will leads to poor quality and low precision which can not meets the standard, even cause serious safety problem. This paper aims at the polyester production monitoring system in order to provide corresponding solution according to the process and requirement.This paper start with the actual temperature requirement and the control object as well as the demands, finally make the fuzzy PID temperature control project based on fuzzy control and traditional PID control with serious design and various projects. The design origins from abundant basic knowledge and fuzzy control and make sure using simulink tool box from Matlab to do design and simulation. The simulation result shows that control system could combine both the precision and convenience to complete the temperature control for polyester reactor. Fuzzy PID temperature control system raised the control accuracy and online self-adaption ability.Practical application of polyester production monitoring system guarantees the temperature accuracy which fulfills the safety and stability. This project considerate customs’ opinion and polyester production process to design the system which based on the PLC and Kingview. The project includes system overall design, hardware circuit design, PLC software design and HMI design.By the integration of PLC S7-300 and monitoring software Kingview, system shows a advancement for the real application of fuzzy control. The project improves production accuracy, decrease overshooting, enhance quality which meets the requirement for manufacturing. The total level of polyester system precedes competitors, and provides an excellent sample for popularizing this kind of system among chemical engineering field. After the application of the system, the viscosity raised 20 percent, insoluble substance decreased, the mobility and tincture increased. The sales volume ranks second for three years in a row and the amount of exports ranks first.
