| Graphene is a hexagonal honeycomb planar film. Because of its good physical and chemical properties, graphene is widely used in polymer materials, lithium ion battery and other fields. In this paper, by using biomass as raw material, graphite was obtained by catalytic graphitization. Then the graphene oxide was prepared. Use KH-550 (y-aminopropyltriethoxysilane) to modify graphene oxide, which was mixed with epoxy resin to prepare functionalized graphene/epoxy resin composite materials. The experimental results were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR and universal material testing machine, and the effects of catalyst species and temperature on catalytic graphitization were investigated. The effect of the content of the functionalized graphene on the mechanical properties of the composites was also investigated. The main research contents are as follows:1ã€The effects of several common catalysts and the temperature on the catalytic graphitization of biomass were studied. The results showed that the catalytic graphitization degree of 20.0wt% Ti was 42.2%, and the catalytic graphitization degree of 20.0wt% Fe was 51.1%, and that 1.0 wt%B+6.0wt%Fe combined catalytic played a significant role in promoting catalytic graphitization, which makes a result that graphitization degree can reach 97.86%.2ã€This paper studied two processes. One is the process of using biomass graphite to prepare graphene oxide, the other is the process of employing KH-550 to modify graphene oxide. The experiment results were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM and FTIR. The results showed that the structure of catalytic graphite retained a large number of pits and tubes, the surface of graphene oxide has a large number of folds, and KH-550 was successfully grafted onto the graphene oxide.3ã€The effect of the addition amount of functionalized graphene on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin was studied. The results showed that the bending strength, the modulus of elasticity, the compressive strength and the impact strength of the composite added into 0.5wt% functionalized grapheme were 107.09MPa, 2.87GPa,56.59MPa and 7.45kJ/m2. They were increased by 15.29%,160.91%, 30.87% and 21.14% respectively, compared to the pure epoxy resin. |
