The coal resources is main energy resources of our country,making significant contribution to the development of our country with cauing many problems.In the process of exploitation of coal resources, with not rational mining,it is easy to make the surface, damages the building, and even makes the life in danger.For example,the Anhui province Huainan mining area in case of unreasonable mining cause inducing surface subsidence lake and housing cracks. The main method to avoid surface subsidence is designing coal pillars,And it is the main protection measures to design protective coal through the main buildings in the main mining areas, water, railway. The regulations mainly introduces the vertical method, vertical section method and digital elevation projection method.The principle and main parameters of setting coal pillar are introduced in detail.Coal pillar in our country imainly depends on artificial calculation,And it consumes a lot of manpower and material resources, it can not meet the requirements of the times and achieve the automation of operation.Therefore designing a high degree of automation of coal pillar setting system by computer technology is specially important.The text is mainly based on the "coal mining regulations",to select the vertical method to design coal pillar by application of C# language in the ArcEngine platform for the design and development of the system,And it achieves the protection of coal pillar set of automation and three-dimensional visualization.The text introduces the theoretical basis of the system software, the principle of the vertical method design protective coal pillar, the main data types, ArcEngine platform and GIS,and design process of the system.It demonstrates the implementation of protective coal pillar foundation automation and visualization through the analysis of principle of vertical method.This Text mainly uses the DEM data, through the comparative analysis of TIN and GRID, and it selects the appropriate data type.Through the introduction and analysis of the ArcEngine platform and GIS, it finds the implementation of coal pillar technology to make automatic and visual infrastructure system true.Through the design process of the system it determines the requirements of the system and achieves the goal, It states details of the principle of the system, the development process, the requirements of the development.The preparation of data and the development of the system are the key points in the whole process. In the process of determining the system development, the system can ensure the system to read and process the data. Through the development of the system, it can realize the automatic and 3D visualization of protecting coal pillar, and it can output the scope and quantity of coal.
