The Recovery And Development Of The Yue Kiln Celadon Fire Craft

The Yue kiln is one of the earliest kilns in the history of porcelain in China, the continuation of the kiln fire for over one thousand years, it continued for a long time, affected a wide range, and it had its own rich cultural and artistic value.The mature technology of Yue kiln celadon in modelling and decoration art had reached a high level at that time. Mysterious court porcelain "secret color porcelain", had been spread in various kinds of literature.Through the history of Yue kiln, the study of the mud and glaze composition and formula and many firing tests, we try to use scientific way to restore the Yue kiln celadon. In addition, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of the Yue kiln celadon glaze color, shape and decoration and discuss the recovery and development of the Yue kiln celadon fire craft from the perspective of historical development. There is a long way to go before the real recovery and reconstruction of Yue kiln celadon, only by constantly attempt and research, can we see the hope of Yue kiln celadon revival.There are four chapters of this thesis:Chapter 1:Yue kiln celadon. A brief overview of Yue kiln celadon.Chapter 2:Yue kiln celadon fire craft. Starting from basic materials, combined with the author’s own experience, this chapter shows the kiln celadon fire skills step by step with questions and solving direction in the process of production.Chapter 3:The modelling and decoration of the kiln celadon. This chapter focuses on discussing about the glaze color, shape, decoration of Yue kiln celadon, and the contrast and innovation.restoring of Yue kiln.Chapter 4:The protection and inheritance of the Yue kiln celadon. This chapter summarizes the problems in the sustainable development of the Yue kiln celadon and possible solutions.
