This paper studies the development of print production technology and the print quality test in the modern world.This study highlights the application of image enhancement technique in print quality test. With the development of digital print.which is automatically and with high speed,it is hard for the traditional print test to satisfy the requirements of people now.Whole image print detection appeared at this moment and attracted more and more attention of the people in or outside the industry.Improving the test efficiency is not only the result strived by the print industry,but also one of the greatest challenges of the field.This system collected images by linear array CCD so that the noise cannot be avoided. The noise exerts an important effect on reading, collecting, treating images as well as the final result. In this way, denoising becomes an essential and important part in image treatment field. On the basis of the plenty of the experiments, this research summarizes common types and features of image noise and analyzes the reasons and solutions. Two common noises are gaussian noise and Salt and pepper noise. As the system requires high speed and precision, the paper used Haar wavelet transform and Gauss-median hybrid algorithm to deal with these two kinds of noises. Through the experiments, the two algorithms are qualified in denoising.On the high-speed production line, the contrast and luminance of the collected images are not in the ideal condition, which brought great difficulties in image identification and treatment. It is not only because of the equipment of CCD, but also the infnuence of the environment. Therefore, to adjust the contrast and luminance is another important research direction in this paper. Ratio Stretch has good mathematical theory model, simple formula and arithmetic. It can satisfy the high speed as well as the precision. The treated images are distortionless. Gamma is good for luminance adjusting. Through the experiments, Gamma can adjust the luminance to realize the expected targets.In the study of denoising, adjusting contrast and luminance, the arithmetic and modules are realized by Microsoft Visual C++. Matlab is used to analyze and evaluate the images’quality. It is proved that the image enhancement and image pretreatment modules can realize the influence on the print detection. It has good instantaneity and application type.
