Hulun Buir Rochelle Tara industrial zone is a part of energy and heavy chemical industrial park that named "One Park three areas ". Depending on rich coal, electricity, water, non-ferrous metal resources in Hulun Buir City, Hulun Buir Rochelle Tara industrial zone works on various industries, including generating electricity, producing chemicals and oil from coal and refining non-ferrous metals.Construction of the park sewage treatment plant has become a top priority for furthering strengthening infrastructure construction of Hulun Buir Rochelle Tara industrial zone, avoiding environmental pollution from domestic wastewater, improving the effective utilization of local water resources, saving valuable water resources and speeding up local recycling economy construction.This paper determined the recent construction scale of Hulun Buir Rochelle Tara industrial zone sewage treatment plant at 10,000m3/d, according to its industry development and drainage situation. The effluent quality of the sewage treatment plant have been reached the level one standard A of discharge standard of pollutants for municipal wastewater treatment plant(GB 18918-2002), through the analysis of the sewage treatment plant influent and effluent water quality and the requirements of the relevant national policy.The improved A/A/O biological process, the high-density sedimentation tanks and other advanced process routing have been demonstrated to disposal of waste water of the Hulun Buir Rochelle Tara industrial zone sewage treatment plant, by summing up success cases of research and technological developments at home and abroad, combined with the northern climate factors.This paper has improved A/A/O Sewage Treatment Plant project design, accumulated some experience which is helpful for the normal operation after the completion of the wastewater treatment plant, achieving economic, social and environmental benefits and improving the running and management of China’s urban sewage treatment plant.
