CBn (Cucurbituril) is a kind of high symmetrical, organic macrocyclic molecule. The structure of CBn forms a rigid hydrophobic outer wall,a rigid hollow cavitand with two highly polar carbonyl openings. Therefore, widely used for molecular receptor applied in molecular self-assembly.The applications of CB6 supramolecular self-assembly has been discussed for many years in this lab, so does the construction of CB6 and Cu (II) complexes of molecular recognition and supramolecular shape matching. Several novel supramolecular structures has been reported successfully, and anion exchange control strategy also has been put forward. On the basis of this, this paper study the CB6 and fluorescent metal complexes [Zn(Hqs)2]2- and [Al(Hqs)3]3-supramolecular self-assembly (Hqs=8-hydroxyquinoline-5-sulphonic acid), and CB6 effect on luminous complexes fluorescent properties of the structures.First, this paper synthesized CB6 and [Zn(Hqs)2]2- shape matching supramolecular successfully, for single crystal (1), And X-ray diffraction method is used to determine the crystal structure. The X-ray analyses showed that single crystal complexes in monoclinic system, P21/c space group, a=16.328(3), b=13.643(3), c = 20.836(8) A,=119.35(2), V= 4045.7(19) A3, Z= 1, Aaicd (g·cm-3)= 1.542, μ(mm-1)=0.473,R1[I>2σ(I)]=0.0544 and wR2 (all data)=0.1237. Single crystal structure of the complexes 1 show that, Na (I) ions and oxygen to form six octahedral coordination, axial combined with the oxygen in a water molecule and CB6 gump in urea carbonyl oxygen, and also three other oxygens in three water molecules and CB6 urea carbonyl oxygen, two ports of CB6 are associated with a Na (I). Central metal Zn (II) is six-coordinated octahedral geometry, axially by two water molecules in the oxygen atoms, plane Ligand with the oxygen and nitrogen in quinoline ring. In the chains of coordination, the Hqs-CB6’s half furea unit and CB6-CB6 are both formed aromatic stacking effect or shape matching. The complex formed a unique supramolecular structure through molecular recognition and shape matching. These supramolecular interaction modes are discussed in detail.Secondly, we also synthesized CB6 and [Al(Hqs)3]3" complex anion supramolecular hybrid single crystal (2) successfully, measured xrd spectra of single crystals 2, compared with 1,make sure that is a different supramolecular structure. Determination of the fluorescence spectra of 1 and 2, and comparing the situation without CB6, find that CB6 in 2 make particularly significant structural effects, make emission maximum wavelength significant redshift. Discusses possible structural reasons.In addition, the paper also studied using UV spectroscopy 1 and 2 ligand solution system balance and molecular recognition, found tructure effect of CB6 to the two complexes is not obvious. Which further demonstrates the CB6’s crystalline nature of supramolecular structure effect properties to complexes luminescent.The research on the rich macrocyclic supramolecular chemistry research and development of new functional materials are of great scientific significance.
