With the development of science and technology, the performance of textile structural composite materials have been researched deeply. The technolog of composite materials forming and the performance of textile structural composite materials were improved always,so its application fields have been got a constantly expanding. At present, textile structural compositeswere widely used in aviation, aerospace, transportation, construction, and many other fields.Through the experiment,the purpose of this paper was to explore the sound insulation and mechanical properties of textile structural composites which were designed.In this paper, glass fiber was used as raw material todesign many kinds weave structures of composite perfom and to weave fabrics by the SGA598 loom of semi-automatic sampling equipment, then, The vacuum-assisted molding(VARTM) process system for composites was used to prepare the woven composites. Combining with the technique of suture, existing equipment was used to study sound insulation and mechanical properties of composite materials. The research content is divided into four parts:under the same frequency from the range 250 to 6300 hz, with the aid of fiber volume fraction to explore twill, strengthen twill, plain and weft double transmission loss of composite materials, the results showed that: From the point of view of fiber volume fraction, twill, strengthen twill, plain and weft double the volume fraction of composite material also showed a trend of decreasing, In other words, the greater of the volume fraction, the transmission loss, the greater the sound insulation performance is better. So, the sound insulation performance could improved from the volume fraction of composite materials.The sound insulation performance of composite materials after the suturing for angle interlock were tested and analysied, the results showed that: Both for fabric and composite material, the effect of vertical joints were better than in the transverse joints.But,for the original materials, the sound insulation performance of textile structural composite materials were not achieved the desired the effect and value. Namely in the study of frequency range, technique of suturing had not improved the sound insulation performance of angle interlock composite materials.The mechanical properties of tabby, twill composite materials were researched with suturing technique, the results showed that: Stitching technology made the mechanical properties of tabby and twill composite materials to improved. On the whole, the mechanical properties of the original materials,vertical seam transverse seam composite materials showed a increasing trend.However, the effect of vertical joints were better than in the transverse joints. From the point of maximum displacement, the numerical of suturing were less than no suturing, but the difference was very small.It showed that the Elasticity and toughness of composite materials were reduced after suturing.However,it was a lower rate to reduce.Suture technique on four layers angle interlock the effect of compound material mechanics performance were discussed, the results showed that: the mechanical properties of transverse seam,ofvertical seam and the original composite materials showed a increasing trend. It showed that the bending performance of composite materials were reduced after suturing. This was because the stitching destroyed the angle interlock weave,the phenomens of holes and Local cleavage were appeared. On the whole, the bending performance of suturing composite materials were below a little bit than the original materials,but the Elasticity and toughness of composite materials were improved. |
